Cell Characteristics

This facility provides advanced research in areas of nuclear materials behavior, nuclear safety thermal hydraulic behavior and health physics dose response investigation. The facility was originally built for post-irradiation examination of CANDU pressure tubes, with the focus on mechanical testing.
