- Type IP-2 F
- N°1 : UO2 and U3O8 fuel rods, pins, segments, pellets, pellet residues, granules, powder, … with an enrichment up to 20 % - N°2 : Different types of non irradiated material
French certificate of approval F/387/IF-96 valid till June 31, 2008 - Validation in other countries possible
- Without
- Overall height: 776 mm - Useful diameter: 600 mm - Maximal unloaded weight: 222 kg
The maximum quantity allowed depends on the 235U enrichment. The following table summarizes this quantity. Value of enrichment Maximal uranium oxide mass to be transported Less to 5 % (235U) 25,17 kg Less to 5,5 % (235U) 21,55 kg Less to 6,5 % (235U) 16,38 kg Less to 10 % (235U) 8,00 kg (*) Less to 20% (235U) 3,40 kg (*) This value can be increased to 10 kg in case of transport of oxide powder only. NOTE: Other contents can be transported – Analysis has to be made case by case – Pl
Several packages can be transported together, on the same palette (4 maximum).
